Freeze-dried quail eggs offer cats and dogs a nutrient-dense, high-protein treat rich in vitamins (A, B12) and minerals (iron, selenium), as well as healthy fats, supporting muscle, skin, coat, and immune health. Benefits include helping with hairballs for cats (lecithin), easing allergies (novel protein), improving digestion, and boosting cognitive function, making them great toppers or supplements for picky eaters, active cats & dogs, or those needing extra nutrients.
I use these as a food topper for my cats and dog. My dog will eat them whole as well. They are easy to crush and use as a food topper.
PLEASE NOTE: Eggshells become very brittle during the freeze-drying process. They crack before they are packaged. No amount of packaging will keep them from breaking during shipping. Therefore, the best use of these eggs is to crumble them and use them as a food topper. They can be rehydrated using a 1:1 ratio of warm water to crumbled egg. Let it sit for 3 to 5 minutes, then serve.
